What does a Project Information Sheet contain?
The scope of a Project Information Sheet should reflect the nature of the planned investment and the requirements of the administrative procedure. The document may include, among other things, a description of the project, its location, scale and technology, anticipated consumption of raw materials, water and energy, emissions, waste, environmental impacts, possible implementation alternatives and measures aimed at reducing adverse environmental effects.

What information is needed to prepare a KIP?
Preparing a Project Information Sheet requires, above all, information on the planned investment, its location, scale, technology and intended use. We also analyse information concerning emissions, waste, water and wastewater management, noise, the consumption of raw materials and energy, as well as the potential impact of the project on protected areas and the surrounding environment. If some data are not yet available, we help determine what information needs to be completed in order to prepare comprehensive documentation.
KIP and the Environmental Impact Assessment Report
A Project Information Sheet is not the same document as an Environmental Impact Assessment Report. A KIP presents the basic information on the planned investment and its potential environmental impact, whereas an EIA Report is a much more detailed study and may be required at a later stage of the procedure.
